Disaster Aid Australia is one of 16 international nominations for the Energy Globe Sustainability World Award.
Our ‘Safe Water for Every Child’ project for the Philippines was one of more than 2,300 entries from 182 countries around the world.
In June 2018 year it was selected as the best project submitted from Australia.
A key issue in selection was the fact the SkyHydrant, that we install for the project can provide 10,000 litres per day of safe water without using electricity or chemicals.
In December 2018 Energy Globe announced that the 'Safe Water for Every Child' project was one of the 16 finalists invited to attend the Energy Globe World Award ceromony in Yazd, Iran, on the 29th January 2019.
The ceremony will be broadcast globally on TV and via livestream.
The Energy Globe World Awards will be handed over in five categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Youth as well as an overall World Award.
