Disaster Aid Response Team (DARTS) from Australia and the UK have been working to help the people of Palu.
With over 40% of the buildings either severely damaged or collapsed tens of thousands are going to be without homes and services for a long time.
Working with local support organisations they have been assisting those who can't be accommodated in the temporary Camps.
The team have trained workers of the Palu Water Board in the installation of SkyHydrants.
Disaster Aid Skyhydrants have been installed in the Kawatuna and Fatulela neighbourhood areas.
They have also arranged for additional tanks in other areas and the repair of a well for an orphanage.
Currently they are identifying other areas that will reeceive Skyhydrants over the coming days and aiming to help meet the shelter needs.
