Many schools in Bhutan have a large number of pupils who are boarders due to their homes being in remote locations.
With lots of children not only attanding school, but living in close proximity, protection from gastric problems is important.
This is why the Bhutan Goverment has welcomed the installation of Skyhydrants.
We have just received results back from the Yebilaptsa Central School where a Disaster Aid Skyhydrant has been installed.
Since the skyhydrant was installed over the January school holidays the incidence of cases of diarrhea have dropped by more than 70%.
As some of these cases may be from children returning to school while affected we are hoping a full years results will be even better!
